“Come join me for some tea so we can discuss how your going to die”

Sir Damian Cray is a philanthropist, peace activist, and the world’s most famous pop star. But still it’s not enough. He needs more if he is to save the world. Trouble is, only Alex Rider recognizes that it’s the world that needs saving from Sir Damian Cray. Underneath the luster of glamour and fame lies a twisted mind, ready to sacrifice the world for his beliefs. But in the past, Alex has always had the backing of the government. This time, he’s on his own. Can one teenager convince the world that the most popular man on earth is a madman bent on destruction-before time runs out?

Personal Experiences

Ok, this book is one of my personal favorites. Alex Rider is once again at the games again. I loved the action and how Alex is starting to take initiative. This book is like Harry Potter and the Half – Blood Prince for the Alex Rider series.

*Hint* Someone dies.

“Let me ask you a question Alex. What do you think is the greatest evil on this planet today?”
“Is that including, or not including you?”

“I have a couple of questions,” he said.
“Do, please, go ahead.”
“My first one is for Yassen Gregorovich.” He turned to the Russian. “Why are you working for this lunatic?”
“I sometimes think that I was richer when I was eight years old than most people will be in their lifetime!”
“Do we have to listen to this?” Alex asked.”

“We have an hour before we have to leave,” Cray said. “So I thought I might tell you a little about myself. I thought it might pass the time.”
“I’m not really all that interested,” Alex said.”

“It was the garden of a man who wanted to rule the world but couldn’t, and so had cut the world down to his own size.”

“Go to Venice. Find Scorpia. And you will find your destiny.”

Where is the Eagle landing to give me Eagle Strike?

Indie Bound*

*If you are unaware, I have a video on how to use Indie Bound as a resource on how to find books

**Also, if you have a Windows Phone, there is a really good EPUB reader app called Bookviser Reader. You can check out their website here.
